So many Las Vegas Hotels to choose from

Choosing one of the many Las Vegas Hotels can be a traumatic experience due to the sheer number of them, but it really comes down to the kind of person that you are, and the reason for your visit to this gambling mecca. If of course you are here so see the glitz and razzamatazz of this interesting city and take in some gambling in the hope of winning your fortune in one of the numerous casinos, then a stay on the strip is a must.

Visitors arriving by air will be greeted by the impressive McCarran International Airport, which in 2006 dealt with over 46 million passengers, making it the sixth busiest airport in the United States and eleventh worldwide, and yes you guessed it gambling is available at all the terminals with over 1000 slot machines strategically placed for your enjoyment.

However if you are more like myself, having visited Las Vegas many times then something a little less fast paced and relaxing may be more in order. If it is your first visit to this amazing city then try and arrange to arrive after dark, quite simply the sight is incredible and is totally different in the daylight hours.

As I am a creature of habit I always keep faith in what serves me well, on all of my fly-drive trips to the United States I try to stay in a Holiday Inn whenever possible, they are affordable and well equipped as well as being clean with all the amenities that I require.

Take a look by clicking the link and typing in the city, the last time I looked among all the Las Vegas Hotels there was seven right here to choose from.

Welcome

This is a great starting point and as you are here, you might as well take in the breathtaking sights of the Grand Canyon a real must see, and it is this magnificent landmark that is the gateway to the Painted Desert, having left the lights of Nevada and crossed into Arizona you are not far from venturing into the land of the Hopi and Navajo Indians.

Enjoy your trip to the Painted Desert, it's vast lands are home to some of the most interesting and naturally beautiful places I have ever visited with some scenic driving that will long stay in the memory.
